Some of you may know of my odd hobby of vermiposting. I harvested my first bin today and the reults were fantastic. Harvesting consists of me sifting through the worm castings and picking out the worms and old bedding. The whole process is quite relaxing and theraputic.
Props go out to Jeni Q for setting me up with my starter worms! She lives in Raleigh and has turned out to be a good friend and source of information.
While I didn't count the # of worms that I started out with, I do feel like my population has quadrupled! I'm totally stoked!
